Eating Healthy

Exercising can be misunderstood, and harmful to the results you want if you are not doing the right ones. Here are some tips to help you out…
If you are looking to gain muscle, you will need to increase your caloric intake. Also, you need to lift weights. Larger weight, however, fewer reps. Power lifting will gain large muscle. This part of the subject is not what I will be going over. We will be focusing on loosing weight and gaining lean muscle.
If you are looking to tone down, and loose weight, you will need to lower your caloric intake. With this, if you lift weights, u must lift low weight, but with a lot more rep. Make sure to supersede with running.

Fact: Using targeting muscle workouts for abs will not loose belly fat.

Only two things to this. One, running and core cardio workouts. Two, eating the right fats. It takes fats to breakdown fats. However, you need to eat the right fats. This includes Poly and mono fats, and does not include trans or sat. Doing a million sit ups will get your abdominal muscles where you want them, however, it will not remove the layer of body fat that covers them.

You want to plan out your foods ahead of time. Try one week at a time as to not over spend until you get used to getting a plan together. Set up a calendar and what you are going to eat.
Your eating habits must change. You should try to eat five times a day.

8am- Breakfast
11am- First snack
2pm- Lunch
5pm- Second Snack
8pm- Dinner

It is very important to never skip breakfast because it sets the tone for the day. Eating a balanced breakfast will help you to wake up create the energy you need for the day.
Make sure your meals have a healthy balance of 40/40/20, 40% Carbohydrates, 40% Proteins, 20% Fats. It’s very important for your body so it can get the most use during working out, and everyday activities.

Creating a healthy lifestyle

Most people think working out and dieting is the way to getting a healthy body. This is a misconception. You will see any number of “Get fit quick plan” infomercials on any given night. There is no such thing as immediate gratification. True gratification comes only with dedication, and personal perseverance. Becoming more healthy and fit must be met only by creating a healthy lifestyle.
Here are my methods I personally am using to change my way of life. There is no way to truly loose weight and get fit without making those changes in your life. When you are unwilling to do so, this is where you will fail. Start by making the most critical decision in your life; taking care of yourself. You should come first before any other person on this earth. You will not be able to take care of anyone if you are down and out. So you must come first. The decisions you need to make are part of a three point process. You will need to change your mind, body, and soul.
One of the hardest, if not the hardest aspect of this process, is changing your mindset. You will need to be mentally ready to take on everything. This includes, planning, self control, and making smart decisions. Everyday, you will need to plan out what you eat, when you work out, and when you will get your rest. Rest is very important for your mind. You will also need serious self control. Having self control means when someone puts some cookies on the table, you don’t even have a second thought about them. Self control means you will be able to control your own actions to prevent from making poor decisions including over eating, eating bad foods, and maintaining your workout routine without skipping days. Making smart decisions part is the easier, yet, more time consuming part. This falls in line with researching, realizing what to do and not to do, and asking for help. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. On the contrary, it is a sign of strength. Asking for help includes, asking friends not to smoke around you or offer you anything, and all the way to getting help on arranging a work out schedule you can follow everyday, and everything in between.
Your body is a very important part of your life. It is often taken advantage of. The saying “Your body is a temple,” is a very true statement. Taking care of it will lead to a healthier lifestyle and happiness. This quite simple, no drugs, limit your alcohol consumption, stop smoking, and eat healthy. This will be the main cause for loosing weight the healthy way. Doing it the healthy way, you will be more likely to keep it off in the future. To this day, we are living three times as long as people did one thousand years ago. Science is consistently growing, and we are learning so much. This includes about our body. Paying attention to what foods do what for your body is very important. There are many foods that break down your body, including trans fat, saturated fats, bad oils, excessive sugar, aspartame, and so much more. Even so, we can over come these by focusing on what is important to us.
The third part in this process is a vital, but often forgotten part, our soul. Now this is usually a sensitive subject and is often misconstrued. There are two parts to it. The first is rest. We need to rest our souls. This doesn’t just mean getting enough sleep at night, although it is a crucial point. Our bodies do need rest. What I’m talking about is resting our souls by not having negative thought, or ill will towards another, whether they wronged you, or hurt you. You will need to forgive them. Letting it all go will allow you to have happiness in your heart. This is often hard for some people. I assure you, when you
get to the point where you can look at someone and say, “I forgive you,” you will be able to forgive yourself for keeping that in your body. Then, and only then, the world will be lifted off your shoulders. The second part is a little more sensitive. When it is talked about, it is often mistaken for someone putting their beliefs on someone else. This is not the case here. If you are religious or spiritual, you will need that in your heart to succeed. Becoming more close with your own beliefs will create a more positive mind set, and enlighten your soul. This is very important. You must have a core set of beliefs and morals. This will help you keep you focused on what is important, and in turn, give you the results you want.
Creating a healthy lifestyle means making choices in your life, to changing who you are, to become a better version of yourself. As for the becoming healthy part by eating right and exercising, well, that’s the easy part.
